Based in Bangalore, Ankit & Rishika Bhauwala laid the foundation for Yoga Rudra in 2016 with a singular purpose – to make the purest form of Classical Hatha Yoga accessible to all.
We are certified by Isha Foundation, have trained for a minimum of 1,750 hours, and have over 5 years of experience teaching corporates, groups, children, patients and adults across continents.
Isha Hatha yoga practices that we offer are currently in practice by over 7 million people worldwide. Taught as workshops, the sessions use detailed videos and corrections that enable one to practice independently after the workshop is complete.Whether this is your first yoga class, or you have been practicing for decades, our attention to detail and depth in practices sets our unique teaching style apart from the rest.
Ankit Bhauwala
Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher
Having travelled over 25 countries and working successfully in leading positions as a marketing strategist for 3 years, Ankit progressed from building startups and non profit org to conceiving Desi Yogi.
In the past 5 years Ankit have also had the opportunity to conduct sessions for the IAF, BSF and CISF Jawan’s in various base camps. Ankit is licensed to impart this pure knowledge across the globe in a variety of settings.
Shiny Ponnamma
Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher
Shiny has excelled in sports, academics & music and is now teaching Yoga. She is also worked at corporates for over 8 years in leading positions and is currently also working for Apple. She is a classical signer and dancer by passion.
Shiny has had the opportunity to teach Yoga for the past 1 year. She is taken over 60 sessions and find immense satisfaction in her pursuit. She has taken sessions for many corporates including for Adobe and Google.
Nikhil Bhauwala
Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher
Nikhil is a travel enthusiast who has travelled extensively. He is also a Wilderness First Responder and a Certified Mountaineer. He has been leading treks in the Himalayan ranges for the last 5 years, and he has had the opportunity to lead over 1,000 people from various countries.
Nikhil finds inspiration in music, art, and spirituality. He also has a keen interest in all things technological, and he occasionally works as a website developer.
